Myth War 2

Myth War 2 Online is a Free to Play 2D fantasy MMORPG that has a turn based “Active Time Battle System”, which is similar to many single player RPGs, such as Final Fantasy VII. It was first introduced to the gaming community on the 6th of June, 2008, entering the closed beta phase. Myth War 2 includes many interesting, unique, and generally amusing features. Without naming them all, there is: the summoning and shapeshifting system, as well as deity beasts and destructive weapons and the rebirth system. However, these were none but the elements that inspired the making of the game, being previously implemented in some form in Myth War, its preceding title. New, more exciting features were carefully thought up and were brought into the game, thanks to the great development team.

The two games are essentially the same except for a graphic update and a remake of the beginning area. I’ve heard some complaints that Myth War 2 is even more cash shop dependent than the original, with things like global chat now require cash shop purchases. Myth War 2 has four races that also act as classes. The only character customization available is gender selection, luckily each gender of a race has a different special skill.

Myth War 2 The four races are:

Mage : Mages have low HP but possess powerful spells that deal heavy damage. The most important stat for a mage is Intelligence. Male Mages have the ‘fire’ spell while female Mages use ‘ice.’

Human : Humans have the highest HP total and have PvP focused skills. Male Humans can use ‘frailty’ which lowers their targets mana. Female Humans posses the ‘poison’ skill that lowers target’s max hp.

Borg : Borg have the highest strength but the lowest speed. Male Borg can use ‘drain’ which lowers opponent’s mana and HP. Female Borg posses ‘resistance upgrade’ which buffs their physical and magic resistance.

Centaur : Centaurs are the healers of Myth War 2 and have the highest agility. The male Centaur’s special skill is ‘multishot’ while the female’s is ‘shadow’.

With Your Destiny (WYD)

With Your Destiny "WYD" is a Free-to-play Scandinavian-based MMORPG game developed by JoyImpact Co. Ltd in South Korea. The game itself was widespread by JoyImpact, Ltd marketing since May 2003 and have licensed to an impressive 5 countries worldwide. Much of the game interaction encourage and focus on fast-pace orientation, and party system to lever the traditional tiresome leveling system. The game also features a castle siege war system in the cities of Armia, Arzan, and Erion that advanced the guild systems.

Game Name: With Your Destiny (WYD)

Genre: Action, Adventure, Strategy, Fantasy Game

The game has quite a bit of ‘playability’ as the game’s level cap is currently at ’400′ and players who reach the game’s level cap can opt to restart their characters at level 1 with access to new ‘god skills’ and stats. The game is certainly geared more towards PvP than it is on PvE, as the game has a large selection of PvP options ranging from open pvp to chaotic ‘channel wars’. The game has a minimal amount of grinding, as the game has a built in function called ‘Automatic Combat System’ which basically kills monsters near your character automatically without player input. The game is certainly unique, but has quite a bit of obvious game glitches and flaws. Make sure to check out the full review.

With Your Destiny Classes are:

Trans Knight : Trans Knight’s are the traditional ‘warrior’ archetype in With Your Destiny. They are capable of dealing massive amounts of damage in melee range and are capable of using deadly area of effect skills. They can wear heavy armor and have the most hit points.

Foema : Foemas are the traditional offensive spell casters in With Your Destiny. They lack physical strength and have the least hit points in the game, but they are capable of dealing massive damage from a distance with their magic.

Beast Master : Beast Masters are basically ‘druids’ in With Your Destiny. They have strong offensive capabilities with their nature based magic and very capable melee strength. They can shape shift into different beasts to gain bonus stats and skills.

Hunter : Hunters are the generic ‘archer’ characters in With Your Destiny. They are masters of the bow and claw weapons and are capable of dealing large amounts of damage very quickly, but have relatively low defensive capabilities compared to the Trans Knight.

FIFA Online 2

FIFA Online 2 is a free to play downloadable MMO football game jointly developed by EA Singapore and Neowiz Games, published by Electronic Arts and is distributed and localized by numerous distributors around Asia. Originally released in South Korea in 2006 using the FIFA 06 engine, the game was upgraded soon to the FIFA 07 engine, where it is still used today. FIFA Online 2 is free to play but it earns its revenue by selling virtual cash which are used to purchase items such as uniform cards to get players for your team and stats boosts. A sequel to the game, titled FIFA Online, was announced on January 30th, 2010.

Jade Dynasty

Jade Dynasty Online is an MMO developed by the people who brought about the ever-popular Perfect World Online. Jade Dynasty is based on the popular internet novel 'Zhu Xian' and is the English version of one of China's most popular Free-To-Play games. Jade Dynasty features a unique martial arts game play style wrapped in a huge, evolving game world. Players first assume the role of a simple paladin as they begin their quest to uncover the secrets of immortality. Players delve into a system where their choices between good and evil begin to shape their game play experience as they obtain different skills, items and ultimately, a story that is unique to every player. Among the many great features, the classless character progression system allows players to focus on the skills they desire to create the ultimate warrior.

After choosing and creating your character, you are then thrown into the Jade Dynasty world. When entering your start point the game offers a helpful tutorial that introduces the basic movements and info pertaining to your character. The game also offers starting players a treasure box to first open with advance items for your character; the box is able to be opened once within every 5 levels. Your character also has spells available to them that enable you to relocate yourself to the nearest town/realm (1 hour cool down) which is helpful due to the huge world of the game. One unique feature the game contains is its autoroute feature; this feature allows the character to automatically walk to a designated quest giver, or certain monster you may need to kill instead of aimlessly wondering around trying to find them. The character leveling system is in the form of a skill tree that allows you to have one point with each level, the system automatically updates your players str, dex, etc… the only thing you can affect is the unique skill tree of your character.

Jade Dynasty has an oriental setting. Much of the game’s environments and monsters are borrowed from Chinese mythology, which help it stand out from the crowd of fantasy games. New players in Jade Dynasty do not select a class right away, instead they start the game as initiates and must wait until level 15 to chose between five factions. All five factions have a different set of skills and a unique play style.

Five factions in Jade Dynasty are:

Jadeon : The premier ranged damage dealer in Jade Dynasty. Jadeons have powerful AoE (area of effect) spells that make them effective levelers. High cast times and low defense make them vulnerable at close range.

Skysong : The only class that is capable of healing and buff other players. Skysongs have low defense and limited offensive capabilities early on but make powerful allies in late game PvE and PvP.

Vim : The primary tank class. Vims have high defense and deal powerful blows to single targets. They lack ranged attacks and become less effective during the later levels.

Lupin : The rogue faction of Jade Dynasty. Lupins deal heavy melee damage but suffer from low defense. Their high critical rate makes them dangerous assassins but they are less useful in group fights. Ideal class for beginners.

Modo : Modos are the main offensive spell casters. Their physical appearance and spell arsenal which includes curses, DoTs, and nukes mark them as formidable Warlocks. The Modo faction is the most difficult to play, especially since they are rather weak during the early levels.

Balo : The faction of brute strength. The Balo prefer axes and many of their skills focus on their physical power. They make excellent front line warriors and can stun, paralyze, silence, and weaken their enemies.

Arden : Elegant being that combine the best aspects of mankind and the animal kingdom. The Arden are masters of the bow and their affinity with nature allows them to summon beasts and plants for assistance.
